In 2009, Off The Leash produced the 16-minute film WAKE (the Wake page is here) featuring Simon Henderson, Stacy Smith, Shelley Thompson & Cliff Le Jeune. Wake won the CBC TV reality show, Short Film FaceOff in 2010 and screened at The Atlantic Film Festival that same year.
Our film ‘Wake’ is still viewable online. Here: www.cbc.ca/download (Go to drama section and scroll through. Wake is the 4th film along. Take a look as we await word on funding for Film #2.
BONE DEEP – The second film! The prize package for Short Film FaceOff included CBC funding and equipment towards the next short film, Bone Deep. We also received funding from Nova Scotia Communities Culture & Heritage.
We go to camera on Bone Deep in mid-April. We were thrilled and honoured by all the support we received raising the money for the film.

Thanks for visiting the Off The Leash page. 2012 was such a busy year.
A Christmas Carol wrapped up it’s annual December tour, after a successful run in NS and New Brunswick. Shakespeare On Trial is still floating around. Fishing opened in 2012 and is already taking bookings for 2013.
There is a plan under way to take shows back down to the USA, following our successful 6-week, 36-show 2011 tour. A new film, with CBC support, is now being scheduled to shoot. We even have a CD to sell you! So much!! That’s without even mentioning the newspaper Off The Leash column, the radio spots and the new Off The Leash TV shannanigans… Oops, we mentioned it!
