Winners Announced for Contact East Awards of Excellence
September 30, 2014 | Initiated in 1998, Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) sponsors a series of awards to recognize excellence and achievement in the field of live performance touring and presentation. They are awarded during APA’s flagship event Contact East.
The Contact East Awards of Excellence celebrate the growth of the industry and recognize the accomplishments of presenters and performers who comprise the touring sector in Atlantic Canada. The Contact East Awards Committee is composed of presenters, performers, sector funders, and supporters, will review all nominations, and may, at its discretion, identify additional nominees in any of the categories. The jury may also decide not to bestow an award in any given year.
Touring Performers Award
To recognize performers whose professionalism and cooperative spirit enhance their relationship with presenters, such as cooperation in performance promotion, technical facilitation, contract fulfillment, or service above and beyond contractual agreements, either presented or self-presented.

SHAKESPEARE ON TRIAL keeps going…and going…

On a personal note, Jeremy Webb was thrilled to have been invited to play Max Bialystock in The Producers for Rainbow Stage in Winnipeg this Summer. Find out more about that production here: RAINBOW STAGE
The show opened July 4th.
The show was a lot of fun and a dream come true for Jeremy. Bravo to the entire cast and crew at Rainbow Stage. What an amazing company. Next year they are doing West Side Story and Les Miserables.
