Just go to this movie and don’t fight it.
If you liked any of the first three, you should go. If you like Tom Cruise, go. If you are a fan of Jeremy Renner, definitely go. If you like it when Simon Pegg is the comic relief (but here with much more to do for a welcome change, Hollywood!) then you should go see MI:4.
The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.
There are some crazy, crazy stunts; some awesome visuals and even an interesting enough plot to keep you interested. Director Brad Bird did a bang-up, live-action job after all that animation direction he excels in.
There’s a great set-up for MI:5 at the end and I do hope they retain the whole team.
