After a highly embarrassing on-air meltdown, whilst hosting the late night news, fading TV personality Trent Almond is forced by TV executives to take a gig hosting TV’s longest-running kids show, The Chuckle Hour.

Chaos and big laughs follow as the long-suffering TV crew have to prepare Almond for his first LIVE broadcast. He’s about to become the central character of The Giggles, an over-the-top, high-energy singing and dancing group that fills The Chuckle Hour with mirth and sugar-sweet silliness.

The Three Giggles websizeThe Giggles  (Susan, Betty and Timmy) aren’t without their own character flaws and after twelve years of hosting The Chuckle Hour even they are facing extinction from the studio… It turns out they need Trent as much as he doesn’t know he needs them!

As the day of the first live show approaches, Almond fights against the colour, the joy and the fun of The Chuckle Hour and has a hard time fitting in. During rehearsals, the crew inadvertently discover the real reason for Trent’s bitterness and decide to help him return to the human race!

A zany mash-up of The Wiggles, Anchorman, and Thirty Rock, this seventy minute show has a dozen popular songs, slapstick, farce, heaps of laughter and even a little heart!
